Teacher of Movement
I have been certified to teach yoga since November 2017. Prior to my yoga teacher certification, I taught group exercise classes, as well as personally trained clients. I have a sports and fitness background, and enjoy bringing that intensity to some of my yoga classes.
Thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Jenny and I am a 200 hour yoga teacher, with a fitness-instructor background, as well as personal training.
My purpose here is to teach various yoga sequences, both body and mind benefits, and how we can all gain a little more grounding in our lives.
I believe that life should be enjoyed, and work should enhance and perpetuate that enjoyment. I do not believe that work should dominate our lives to the point of leaving no room for the self. Rather, I believe our passions and our work ought to be one and the same, both benefitting ourselves as well as others. It is our responsibility as individuals to discover and harness our true selves, thriving at what what we can offer.
On a personal note, I live with depression, anxiety, and addiction. On a daily basis I make a decision to do certain things to live happily, freely, and purposefully. I am actually so grateful for all my vices because they have become my sources of strength.
My hope is to share joy with others, flow with others, and to build strong and positive connections.
