I have always had a strong passion for teaching others to help them reach their design goals.

I graduated from Delaware State University in 2010 with a B.S. in Textiles and Apparel Studies. I continued my studies in Fashion Design and received my M.S. in Fashion Design from Drexel University in 2013.

Since then I have taught in higher education teaching fashion design at Delaware State University, Moore College of Art and Design and Baltimore City Community College.

For nearly 10 years I have built my brand Jrée Desirée Collections where I have created custom speciality gowns and dresses for clients.
I have since launched J. Desirée Studio where I focus on educating individuals in different technical design aspects of fashion through course offerings. Along with the creation of PDF patterns for fashion forwards designs you can make at home!
