Chef Niko Maris

I was born in Chicago, and raised in Greece on the island of Xios, located in the Aegean Sea. Food fed our family, supported our family, and was our way to connect the generations. My grandfather farmed, my grandmother cooked, and my parents owned the village market. From an early age, my brothers and I learned to raise, to cook, and to appreciate quality foods and fresh ingredients. My roots are in The Mediterranean, but my taste spans continents and cultures.

I offer classes for Kids, Adults and Couples. On request, I can customize classes for Families and Groups. With Kids, I want share my love of food and cooking. With Adults, I show how to prepare beautiful meals with wine pairings.

MENU CREATION: I have done extensive consulting of Asian American fusion cuisine, and Mediterranean American fusion cuisine.
