Mohammad Saahil

Mechanical Engineering Student

Hey there! I'm a Production Engineering enthusiast working on my dream to bring change through Sustainable Manufacturing. I love teaching Physics and the Basics of Mechanical Engieering.

My Journey

Since my childhood, I was always attracted to Science and Technology, which drove me to go for Engineering. I’ve made a couple of science projects in my High School that won awards. One of them was the Stirling Engine, which pretty cool.
I did my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India. I graduated with a CGPA of 8.62/10, and also cleared the GATE examination. Studying here broadened my horizons in the spectrum of Mechanical Engineering especially in areas including Manufacturing and Design, Automotive Engineering, and Energy Systems.

I’ve interned as a trainee at a Nuclear Power Plant and Railways Coach Care Centre. These internships increased my professional experience. I’ve also been part of various ATV competitions where we had to design and build a Quad-Bike and compete with teams from over the country.

Now I look forward to specializing in design and manufacturing with my master’s at NYU.
