My Bio
Marlina Hunt-Clark is a leading educator, with about 20 years of experience under her belt. She will let you know it was not always easy hitting home runs in the classroom. In her earlier years of teaching, she remembers all too well the times she struck out with students that others already labeled disruptive and unmotivated. She saw the goal to help inspire and build motivation for those students. Ms. Hunt-Clark believed in taking a holistic look to produce learning environments through engaging lessons that would help increase student participation. She believes learning can take place anywhere, in or outside the classroom. Her vision has trained and supported others with an expectation for excellence in every child. She has become an asset to enhancing programs that help the youth, and others to think differently about educating today’s child. It is defined as a student-centered approach to teaching. The students’ cultural strengths are identified and nurtured to promote their achievement. Her passion in her daily work as an educator has brought much success to bridging the gap for students, teachers, parents and communities. She is actively committed to her role as a mentor, tutor, teacher and educational consultant. Marlina is a leader that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. Her motto is, “ALL I CAN DO IS WIN”.
