Attorney Benjamin Luna graduated from Vermont Law School, and the University of California, Davis. He served five years as Chief Deputy State's Attorney, where he prosecuted about one thousand domestic violence cases. Attorney Luna received special training in domestic violence with the National District Attorneys Association.

Course Highlights

This course will provide start to finish instruction on applying for a domestic violence restraining order. From writing your sworn statement to opening and closing statements to presenting evidence, you will learn how to successfully advocate for yourself.

Additionally, this course will teach students how to organize their case and materials to ensure the “elements” of law are met. A variety of invaluable do’s and don’ts courtroom tips will be included, including preparing your case for virtual hearings. The course takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
