I studied literature as an undergraduate at Harvard and as a graduate student at CUNY, in New York City. After working as a writer and editor, I taught upper-level literature classes at a New York City private high school for twenty years. Even though I'm now retired, I can't resist the opportunity to share my love of classic books!
Really, it’s fun!
Many people like the idea of reading classic books, but they think it might be boring or confusing or difficult. It doesn’t have to be that way! We will read books in manageable sections, meeting weekly to clarify, discuss, and speculate.
