Class Description
Welcome to The Art of Photography, where you will learn the reasons why your photographs don’t always turn out the way you want them to.
This class will introduce you to your basic camera functions. You may not know what that "M" stands for on your camera, but you will not only know what it stands for, you will become a master at creating your own photographs.
Class Requirements
You will need a 35mm DSLR camera or 35mm mirrorless SLR camera. If you want to use a film SLR, you can, just remember that we will not be able to see your work right away.
Class Supplies
You will need either a 35mm DSLR camera or a 35mm mirrorless camera. Optional equipment you may need are: a sturdy tripod and an external flash.A telephoto lens.

You are in the right place. This class is perfect for you. By the completion of the class you will understand your camera and the basics of how to use it to create your own photographs.
Do I need a professional camera for this class?
No, not at all. A basic 35mm DSLR camera is fine.
I see other photography classes on this site. Why should I choose yours over theirs?
That’s an excellent question. I don’t know the other photographers to tell you whether they are more or less qualified to teach you photography than I. So, I will stick to what I know. With over 40 years of experience as a professional studio photographer, I bring a vast amount of knowledge to the plate. This isn’t my first time teaching photography. I teach in person classes in my studio. With an award winning, published photographer for your instructor, you really can’t go wrong.
