Class Description

We will delve into techniques from brush strokes applied to the canvas in creating calm and serene blue skies to a simplified method with results that brings pause to viewers that can be applied to more than just skies, but many other areas of a painting with the use of acrylic paints. In learning this painting skill, you’ll be intrigued into exploring how much further your creative mind can take this skill even further when applying this into your very own personal paintings. In addition to painting the calm and serene sky, you will learn an additional skill in painting clouds, importance of placement and their relevancy to the time of day and how they bring a sense of feeling within a sky. I hope to see you there as we begin the journey of understanding what makes the story within
