Have you ever wanted to know more about the buildings around you? Curious about what architects do and what they’ve done through history? Want to have more interesting conversation topics for your next party?
This class is a sweeping survey of the history of architecture, and will introduce you to the basic concepts of construction, architectural styles, and how buildings respond to their environments. You need to have no knowledge of art, architecture, history or any other topics to benefit from this class. Meant for the lay-person.
This class requires nothing at all except curiosity and a desire to know more. There are no tests, course materials, or other requirements. Just join in, and have some fun while learning about architecture!
