Homeschooling 101: Tips for Parents In Supporting Children with Literacy and Math

Class Description

We will explore resources to help students get extra practice and establish good habits for supporting life long learners. We will explore songs, games, stories, websites, and a variety of techniques designed to make learning fun and accessible. We will explore background education theory, and we will talk about the challenges of homeschooling. Parents will come away from this class with a toolkit for supporting their young learners, whether you are homeschooling, supporting remote learning, or helping your child with traditional homework. This class is geared to parents in preK-5.
